In St. Petersburg, activist Ilya Shorokhov was detained near the Gorkovskaya metro station. This was reported to OVD-Info by Polina Kostyleva, coordinator of Navalny's St. Petersburg headquarters.
Shorokhov handed out newsletters (newspapers) near the metro. The police said it was illegal because the newspapers didn't have imprint. Now the detainee is sitting in the car and waiting to be taken to the police station.
UPD. The police saw in the actions of Shorokhov Art. 5.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (illegal production, distribution or placement of campaign materials), although this article only applies to the period of elections to the authorities.
UPD. After drawing up a protocol under Article 13.22 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for announcing imprint data from the media), Shorokhov was released.
