The coordinator of the headquarters of the Navalny deputy of the Vladivostok City Duma, Yuri Kuchin, was sentenced by the Frunzensky District Court under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event) to 100 hours of compulsory work. Kuchin was detained on July 1 at a procession in honor of the City Day, he carried a banner with the phrase "The fish rots from the head" and a drawn fish with two heads. In the drawing, the features of Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Putin were guessed. Activists Andrei Yarotsky and Vitaliy Zubets, who were also detained, carried a banner with the text “Aleksey, hold on. Man is stronger than rats." Yarotsky and Zubets were previously fined by the court for 10,000 rubles each, under part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation by a participant in a public event of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing).
