The State Duma is preparing a public abandonment of Ukrainian citizenship
Citizens of Ukraine who want to become Russians, but do not have certificates issued by the Ukrainian authorities to withdraw from the citizenship of this country, will be able to renounce it publicly - and find the desired passport of the Russian Federation.
In any case, the Russian State Duma wants this in the person of its committee on the legislation. The Committee intends to consider the corresponding amendment to the bill dedicated to the details of the provision of citizenship of the Russian Federation tomorrow. The speech there, among other things, is about the procedure for bringing the oath upon receipt of a Russian passport, but this is a separate topic. As for the “renunciation of Ukraine”, the head of the legislation committee Pavel Krasheninnikov justifies its need by the fact that the Ukrainian authorities allegedly ceased to issue certificates of the citizenship of this country.
Some users of social networks of the action of Ukraine - if they are actually such - understand, but they confuse the concepts of “emigration” and “immigration”:
Ukraine does not allow dual citizenship. And does not give certificates of output. Thus, this is a great way to help those who want to immigrate.

And others also understand the initiative of Russian deputies:
If people are repaired by obstacles when leaving citizenship, you have to meet them.
Those who sympathize with the Donbass separatists hope that this step will not be limited to this step.
The cancellation of the requirement to provide a certificate of withdrawal from Ukrainian citizenship will save a lot of life in the literal sense of the word. And I really hope that for people with passports of the DPR and LPR, obtaining Russian citizenship will be according to the most simplified scheme.
One of the most famous former citizens of Ukraine in Russia did not stand aside:
citizenship of Ukraine. I am convinced that thousands of people are waiting for this norm, whose rights are violated by ignoring their statements about the withdrawal from the citizenship of Ukraine.

By the way, according to Kommersant’s information , not to pay attention to the absence of a Ukrainian certificate when providing Russian citizenship was proposed at a recent meeting with President Vladimir Putin, the leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky. And the next day, the State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin spoke on this subject, drawing attention to the problems of some inhabitants of the annexed Crimea associated with a change in citizenship.
However, the public in connection with the Duma initiative arose many questions.
Will they legalize a public rejection of Rasysky
A public refusal will be banned from the Russian!
What does "public" mean? 3 times with witnesses "Talak" say? Or yell on Red Square?
Why publicly why? Well, refused, signed the documents. Personal choice of everyone. Why demonstrate it?
Made for Crimeans. But those are not fools to abandon the Ukrainian passport - in Kherson, the line for biometrics is mainly from the Crimean.
From the Ukrainian side there are ironic remarks.
Let us, we are happy to neighing from idiots who voluntarily refuse visa -free travel and in the future - EU citizenship.
And, of course, “renunciation of Ukraine” gives a huge scope for jokes and jokes about how exactly this procedure could take place.
And someone suddenly became worried on another “eternal” topic:
VHVHKHKhHVVVHV, they want to introduce a dry law and publicly abandon the citizenship of Ukraine

Jokes jokes, but from a legal point of view, the situation loomed strange. The President of the Migration XXI Century Foundation, the former deputy head of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Suppin calls it “not very legal”: “What does it mean publicly abandoned another citizenship? Today said one thing, and said the other tomorrow”. Moreover, for Ukraine, a “public refusal” of its citizenship, introduced by Russia, of course, will not have any obligatory force. As a result, those who abandon Ukrainian citizenship will remain in its legal field from the point of view of Ukraine. Given what the relations of the two countries are now, this can threaten the most unexpected problems on occasion.
