The court rejected the lawsuit of the Forbes ex-author to the publication

The Presnensky District Court refused the lawsuit of the former Forbes employee Elena Zubova against the publisher Alexander Fedotov and the chief editor Nikolai Up, writes Kommersant. The reason for the lawsuit was the decision of the publication not to report on the salary of the head of VTB Andrei Kostin in the annual ranking of the highest paid top managers of Russia.

The journalist accused Forbes of “changing the editorial policy” and demanded to recover 1.2 million rubles from Alexander Fedotov, 100 thousand rubles from Nikolai Up, as well as restore it at work and pay an amount equal to the number of salaries from the moment of departure.

“None of Elena was removed from the number or electronic version of the publication, no one showed her which topic to choose, and which one to refuse,” Nikolai Uskov told the Forbes chief editor

In November, Vedomosti wrote that Forbes employees wrote a letter to the owner of the publication Alexander Fedotov. After publishing the rating of the highest paid top managers of Russia, journalists accused Fedotov of concealing the income of the head of VTB Andrei Kostin. The authors of the rating managed to find out the salary of Kostin, but these data did not publish.
