On Uchebnaya Street in Tomsk, asphalt is being laid, which the contractors did poorly. It is already obvious that the contractors did not manage to complete all the work by the deadline set by the contract—July 10th. Work on Uchebnaya is in full swing, a TV2 correspondent learned at lunchtime on July 10.
According to the press service of the city administration, over the weekend, specialists from the Kuzbassdorstroy company milled 70% of the street and removed the previously laid defective asphalt pavement. After this, they will begin laying the leveling layer.
Let us remind you that two days ago the mayor of Tomsk Ivan Klein assessed the quality of the renovation of Uchebnaya Street and demanded that the renovation be redone.
Technical supervision specialists checked the quality of the coating in laboratory conditions and were checked by experts. The results obtained showed that the mixtures used for the leveling layer did not meet the requirements.
At the same time, the mayor noted that if Kuzbassdorstroy does not meet the deadline and does not complete work on Uchebnaya by July 10, the company will face penalties.
In addition, specialists are now checking other facilities where this contractor works. Among them are Kirov Avenue, Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Stepanovskaya, Rosa Luxemburg and Kyiv streets.
