According to TASS , the twenty best Russian universities are listed without specifying places:
In the list of 12 universities representing Moscow, 3 - Petersburg, 2 - Tomsk, one at a time - Kazan, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.
When compiling a rating, universities were evaluated by 35 indicators reflecting the three main missions of the university in the modern world: “Education”, “Science”, “University and Society”. Indicators are combined into five groups, each of which has a certain weight in the final assessment: “Education” (40%), “Science” (30%), “Internationalization”, “Sustainability and Potential of Development”, “Remote Education” - 10%each.
The international version of the rating indicating specific places in the preparation of which 30 foreign experts will participate will be released in October.
The results of the ratings will be taken into account in the government program for the development of higher education in the Russian Federation "5-100".
