The Government of the Russian Federation has made changes to the procedure for providing subsidies for the implementation of preferential car loan programs. The corresponding decree was published on Tuesday on the government website.
According to the document, Russians planning to purchase a car on credit this year will be able to receive a discount of 10% of its cost. The benefit will be provided to citizens with two or more minor children ("Family Car" program) and to those who buy a car for the first time ("First Car" program).
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been allocated 3.75 billion rubles from the budget for these purposes. The government plans to sell more than 58 thousand cars on credit at a preferential rate.
Another resolution allocates 3.75 billion rubles to provide subsidies in 2017 for the implementation of preferential leasing programs for vehicles - under programs such as “Russian Tractor”, “Russian Farmer” and “Own Business”). Due to this, at least 27 thousand more units of equipment are planned.
Let us remind you that in total in 2017, 62.3 billion rubles were allocated to support the Russian automobile industry. Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that this would allow the sale of 737 thousand cars.
