Svetlana Ageeva, a mother of Russian contractor Viktor Ageev, was captured in the Donbass, recorded a video show to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. It is reported by "New Gazeta".

Ageeva asks Poroshenko to allow her a date with her son or at least pass him a video written.

According to Ageeva, she does not know how her son got to the Donbass. “They ask me how it could happen that irreparable to him happened, how he got there. But I can say one thing - that a contract was discussed in the family. I myself still have fallen back, I still can’t understand how it happened, who has influenced my child, that he found himself in those places,” says Ageeva.

Ageeva appeals to the mercy of the Ukrainian president and asks Poroshenko to have mercy on her son or contribute to his exchange. “If, as a result of the exchange, some Ukrainian citizen or soldier gets home to the family, I will be as happy as for my child,” Ageeva assures. The mother of the captive Russian is ready to personally go to Ukraine and take part in the exchange negotiations.

Meanwhile, the Novaya “new” noted that the editors of the publication applied to the Security Service of Ukraine and the administration of President Poroshenko with a request to allow the meeting of the correspondent Pavel Kanygin with the prisoner. He was going to give Ageev a video of his mother. “But the Ukrainian security forces were evading the answer, referring to the need to conduct investigative measures with Ageev. Meanwhile, the prisoner Russian was interviewed by the journalists of the National Ukrainian Channel 1+1,” the editorial office also turned to the OSCE with a request to assist in the humanitarian visit to the final Ageeva.

On June 24, corporal Ageev during the battle as part of the LPR reconnaissance group was captured by the village of Zelobok . In an interview with TSN, Ageev, published on July 9, admitted that he arrived not on Ukraine on his own initiative, but by order of the command. In March of this year, Ageev said, he signed a contract from the Ministry of Defense and went to serve in the military unit No. 65246 in Novocherkassk. There are a communication regiment and the training center of the Russian Air Force. Four days later, the contractor was sent to Ukraine.
