The Baltic Federal University named after Immanuel Kant in Kaliningrad issued a statement stating that the student of the Law Faculty and the organizer of the rally on July 12 Oleg Alekseev was expelled from the university for poor performance and an attempt to give a bribe.

“He was already expelled from the university for poor performance in the spring of 2016, long before the beginning of his political activity, and was restored in September of the same year. Unfortunately, and after that, Alekseev missed classes, and then tried to give a bribe to “buy” the missing watches in one of the items, which was recently identified and suppressed by university employees, ”the university said.

From the correspondence published by the press service of the university, it follows that in December 2016, Alekseev transferred 1,200 rubles to close absenteeism in physical education, because of which he had difficulties with the offset.

According to RBC, the university “specified that they received a student’s personal correspondence from an university employee who promised to help him close absenteeism.”

Alekseev himself does not deny that he transferred money to close the non -performance of physical education. In a conversation with RBC, he noted that “a bribe is given to an official, there were no officials there, there was a fake on the Internet” he also stated that the reason for his absenteeism was “absolutely inadequate” physical education training plan, since. “I am a lawyer, and I had more physical education than some specialized items. Believe me, the whole university suffers from this, ”the student explained to the publication.

Earlier, the student said that he was expelled from the university for "illegal behavior." The deduction order noted the “disrespect” of the student “to the law and the court in public space”, the neglect of the internal order at the university, the incessant disciplinary sanction.

In the personal conversation of Alekseev with the rector of the Department of Legal and Human Work of the University, Galina Kazakova, it turned out that the Directorate did not like the post on the page of the VKontakte student about the problems with the coordination of the rally.
