In the Ivanovo region, a truck driver was fined for an uncoordinated rally

In the city of Teikovo, Ivanovo Region, a trucker protester Yevgeny Galkin was fined 5,000 rubles under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). This was reported on the website ivanovonews.ru .

In March, truckers across Russia held a protest against the introduction of the Platon system. The drivers parked their cars on the sides of the roads. Somewhere there were hundreds of cars, and somewhere - just a few, as on the road near the village of Grozilovo in the Ivanovo region. According to the police, Galkin placed two cars he rented on the side of the road, made posters with the inscription “We are against toll roads”, installed them on cars and distributed them to other truckers. The police especially highlighted the fact that Galkin gave an interview to television, publicly criticizing Plato.

At the same time, on that day, the police came to the truckers and did not express any claims against them. A protocol on an administrative offense against Galkin was drawn up a month later. The police officer who processed it could not explain why the report was not drawn up immediately. She couldn’t remember any details at all - only that she left with her colleagues on the report of the protest of truckers.
