The deductions of the rally organizer against corruption were accused of bribery

Student of the Yurfak of the Baltic Federal University named after Kant (Kanta BFU) Oleg Alekseev, who was the organizer of the regional rally on June 12, was expelled from the university for bribery. This was told in the press service of the university to RBC.

BFU provided the publication with a copy of explanatory students and his correspondence in VKontakte. From the correspondence it follows that in December 2016, Alekseev transferred 1200 rubles to get a test of physical education due to absenteeism 21 classes. The student’s messages were provided by an university employee who promised him to close absenteeism, RBC notes.

As told in the BFU, Alekseev was already expelled for poor performance in the spring of 2016, but in September it was restored. If the student wants, he can recover again, noted at the university. “Unfortunately, in this case, an unhealthy interest in the situation created by one of its participants forced the rest to see a policy where it is not,” the university representative added.

Alekseev himself recognized the transfer of money, but emphasized that he did not consider it a bribe. According to him, absenteeism appeared due to the "absolutely inadequate" training plan on physical education. “I am a lawyer, and I had more physical education than some specialized items. Believe me, the whole university suffers from this, ”the student added.

Earlier, Alekseev stated that he was expelled because of the post in which he talked about the difficulties in the coordination of the action. According to the official order, the student was expelled "in connection with the illegal behavior", which consisted of "disrespect for the law and the court in public space." Alekseev called the order “illegal”, and the wording of “disrespect for the law” - “absurd”.

The student wanted to hold a rally in the center of Kaliningrad, the city administration refused, offering an alternative option; In response to this, Alekseev sued the local authorities.

According to the New Kalinigrad publication, the BFU management and law enforcement officer met the student with the student and called him to refuse the rally, noting that Alekseev had “not enough knowledge and experience”. Due to the participation of students in protests, there are “questions to the university”, added to the BFU. The student provided the recording of the conversation to the New Kalinigrad.

After the publication of the conversation, the leadership of the university promised to conduct an audit against Alekseev.
