The United States has limited the use of the Kaspersky laboratory software by state bodies

The US presidential administration Donald Trump excluded the Kaspersky Lab from two lists of companies from which state structures are allowed to purchase software. It is reported by Reuters .

Such a decision was made due to fears that Kaspersky’s Laboratory cooperates with Russian special services.

Now state bodies cannot be purchased by the Kaspersky Laboratory under the contracts and tenders of the General Service Administration (GSA). The agency noted that if the purchase is organized not through GSA, structures are not prohibited from cooperating with the Russian company.

According to the GSA spokesman, this decision was made after "analysis and a thorough investigation." The ABC News TV channel, which announced the decision of the Trump administration, called restrictive measures regarding the Kaspersky Laboratory “The most significant and far -reaching” step.

The restrictions against the use of software from the Russian company were introduced after the publication of Bloomberg about the secret project of Kaspersky Laboratory and the FSB.
