The court sentenced Ramiz Fashiev to 4 years and 7 months in a penal colony, Ilsur Makulov and Ildus Yanbukhtin to 2 years and 7 months in a colony-settlement, Ramil Khamidullin to 2 years and 5 months in a colony-settlement, and Zafarjon Zuvaydov to 2 years in prison conditional freedom.

According to investigators, five men allegedly joined the organization, which is recognized as extremist in Russia, and created its branch on the territory of Dyurtyulinsky, Chekmagushevsky and Ufimsky districts of Bashkiria.

“The tasks of the Tablighists were covert propaganda of the ideology of Islamic extremism and the involvement of new members through their psychological processing, and the global goal was to establish world domination through the spread of a radical form of Islam and create a single Islamic state “World Caliphate” on the basis of regions with a traditionally Muslim population.
