The head of the Znamensky district of the Oryol region, Sergei Semochkin, wrote a statement to the police against the residents of the village of Selikhovo for complaining about problems on television. This is reported by the portal "Oryol Information Bureau".

The villagers turned to the editors of the Vesti-Orel program, and a story about local problems went on the air. The next day, one of the initiators of the meeting with journalists, Yuri Salkov, was summoned to the police. For a meeting with journalists, an administrative case can be opened about an unapproved public event. The senior district police officer told the publication that “the Znamenskaya administration received a statement about holding an unauthorized event in the village of Selikhovo, Znamensky district, Oryol region. This application is being reviewed and a decision will be made upon completion of the review.”

The head of the district administration, Semochkin, did not comment on the situation, and his deputy, Alexander Basov, said that “it was not a rally, it was some kind of meeting,” and said that he could not say anything about this.
