Three supporters of Alexei Navalny were detained in Moscow: Sergei Karmanchikov, Lilia Kuprevich and Alexander Morgun. The detainees themselves reported this to OVD-Info.
The activists were detained when they went to hand out leaflets in support of Alexei Navalny. According to them, they had not yet started distributing anything when the police approached them, introduced themselves as criminal investigation officers and asked them to show their documents. After that, the activists were put into a car and taken to the Livoberezhny police department, allegedly to check the authenticity of their passport data.
UPD: Alexander Chernikov, a volunteer at Navalny's Moscow headquarters, told OVD-Info that the activists were taken to the police department.
