The Executive Director of the Siemens concern Joe Cerez is considering the possibility of withdrawing from joint ventures with Russian companies after the scandal with the supply of gas turbines produced by the German company in Crimea. This was reported by the German publication Wirtschafts Woche.

According to the interlocutors of the publication, the concern may stop participating in Siemens - Gas Turbine Technologies LLC. It was this enterprise that manufactured the turbine for the construction of the station on Taman, which later found themselves in Sevastopal. Siemens owns 65 percent of the shares of Siemens, 35 percent owns OJSC power machines.

An exit from CJSC Interwomatics is also considered, 45.72 percent of the auctions of which belong to Siemens. According to a German company, this enterprise reconstructed turbines so that they could not be recognized as Siemens.

However, Siemens spokesman Philip Ench in the commentary of RIA Novosti called the “speculation” article in Wirtschaftswoche. “We said that we will consider the further consequences. It was in our statement, so I cannot comment on further speculation,” the representative of the concern said.

Last week, Reuters reported that two of the four Siemens turbines, which, according to the contract, were supposed to be installed at the power plant under construction in Taman, arrived in Sevastopol by sea . Siemens assured that "they would take operational measures to prevent illegal use of equipment." In particular, the concern will not participate in the installation of turbines and ensure their warranty service.

On July 10, Siemens stated that they did not give consent to the supply of turbines for an annexed Ukrainian peninsula, and at the Technopromesport company over the past few months, the equipment would not fall into Crimea in writing. The concern said that he would hold the counterparty accountable.

On Tuesday, Siemens filed a lawsuit against the Moscow Arbitration Court of the Technopromesport and Siemensu - Gas Turbine Technologies.

On the same day, Germany’s ambassador to Russia Rydigiger von Frich said that the circumstances of the supplies that violate the sanctions of the EU should not be investigated by German, but the Russian authorities. “If what happened is true, then Siemens was seriously deceived, and this was a violation of the contract, a serious undermining of confidence and a very strong blow to investment in Russia,” the diplomat noted.

On Thursday, Reuters reported that four cylindrical objects covered with tarpaulin were discovered on the ship moored in the port of Feodosia.
