Russian lawyer Natalya Veselnitskaya met with Donald Trump Jr. to tell him about financing by the head of Hermitage Capital William Brauder of the campaign headquarters Hillary Clinton. The lawyer told about this in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

According to Veselnitskaya, she wanted to inform Trump Jr. about the data "which she personally received during the investigation." In particular, the lawyer claims that the company of Brauder Ziff Brothers Investments has evaded taxes in Russia, and also financed the US Democratic Party. However, this information was not interested in her interlocutors, Veselnitskaya noted.

The lawyer also said that she conducted her own investigation against Brauder, and personally provided the collected information to the general prosecutor Yuri Chaika. At the same time, Veselnitskaya denies the participation of the Russian authorities in organizing a meeting with the son of the US President. She explained that the meeting was helped by Russian businessmen, owners of Crocus Group Aras and Emin Agalarov.

Brauder himself in an interview with Business Insider said that Veselnitskaya prepared a "huge list of charges against him, including murder, espionage, fraud, tax evasion, bankruptcy and slander." According to him, the lawyer coordinated with a seagull.

On Friday, Denis Grunis, the head of the Main Directorate of International Legal Cooperation of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office, in an interview with RT denied reports that the supervisory authority could be involved in the organization of a Russian lawyer with the son of Trump in the United States. On Friday, the American media reported that the former employee of the Main Intelligence Department of the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces Rinat Akhmetshin participated in the meeting. The AR agency calls it a "Russian-American lobbyist." "It is reported that Akhmetshin has ties with the Russian special services, although he denies this," the report said.
