
Two colonels from the central apparatus of the FSB were arrested on suspicion of extortion of a bribe, Kommersant reports with reference to sources. According to the publication, employees received about a million rubles from the head of the Chop for the conclusion of a contract for the protection of diplomatic facilities.
The head of one of the services Andrei Kuternin and his deputy Alexei Kostenkov are charged with the Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Moscow of committing a crime under paragraphs “A” and “B” of part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving a large -scale bribe with a group of state duty). Both colonels were arrested by the Moscow Garrison Military Court, which recently, at the request of the investigation, extended them a preventive measure.
The case was opened after the special services general of the Chop "detachment-1" Gleb Snitserov contacted the special services department. The man said that the FSB officers who oversee the work of the Main Directorate for Serving the Diplomatic Corps at the Foreign Ministry are extorting money from him. According to him, he more than once gave officers several hundred thousand rubles, but they continue to demand money from him, promising to increase the number of protected objects in the contract.
Office of its own security organized an investigative experiment, during which Snitserov handed Kostenkov another bribe. The colonel was detained in vigorous. He agreed to cooperate with the investigation and testify to his boss Kuternin.
SCOP "detachment-1" concluded a contract worth 113.9 million rubles with the chapter. From 2017 to 2019, the buildings of the Glavka and its cultural center, as well as another 13 objects, will be under its protection.

The sources of the publication also reported another corruption case against a colonel from the Federal Security Service in Moscow and the region. According to investigators, he extorted 100 thousand dollars for the termination of inspections in relation to institutions of the Department of Culture of the Government of Moscow. The colonel claimed that the money would go to his leadership.
Now a large -scale anti -corruption check is being held in the FSB in Moscow and the region, sources said. According to its results, some management managers can be resigned.
