The Pechersk court of Kiev for two months arrested deputy Mikhail Dobkin , giving him the opportunity to make a bail in the amount of about two million dollars within five days.
The deputy said that he did not have that kind of money.
At a court session, his associates at the opposition bloc in the Verkhovna Rada were attended. All of them expressed their readiness to give a guarantee for him, and two - to make a deposit.
On July 13, the Parliament of Ukraine deprived Dobkin's immunity at the request of the General Prosecutor's Office. He is suspected of abuse of power and involvement in fraud with land plots in Kharkov.
During the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, Dobkin was the head of the administration of the Kharkov region, ran for the presidential election in Ukraine in the fall of 2014.
