The ex-head of the FBI will release a book about working with Trump

The ex-head of the FBI James Komi is going to release a book about his work in the civil service, writes The New York Times. The auction for the right to publish memoirs will be held next week, the newspaper reports.

“This is a book about the leadership and search for truth, founded by the lessons and experiments that he [Komi] received throughout his career, including his recent experience with Trump,” said Mat Latimer literary agency, who recently met Komi.

The book, writes Nyt, will not look like traditional memoirs: Komi will focus on the most high -profile investigations of the FBI. In particular, we will talk about the use of Hillary Clinton Personal Post for official letters, as well as the “interference” of Russia in the election of the US president.

US President Donald Trump fired Komi on May 10. Trump explained this decision by the fact that, in his opinion, Komi cannot effectively lead the special service. The former FBI director himself is confident that he was fired due to investigations related to Russia.

According to NYT, Trump asked Komi to close the investigation about the possible connections of the ex-adviser of the US President on National Security Michael Flynn with Moscow.
