The President’s brother was arrested in Iran

In Iran, the brother of President Hasan Rukhani Khussayin Fereyedun was detained, AFP reports . He is suspected of financial crimes.

As BBC News clarifies , the court then arrested Fereidun, since he did not fulfill the conditions of release on bail.

In addition to Fereidun, several more people were detained, the representative of the court said.

The publication adds that Ferdeidun appeared in a scandal with the high salaries of the heads of the state insurance company Iran. He denied all suspicions.
