Actor Vladimir Tolokonnikov died in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the representative of the theater in Alma-Ata, where the artist worked for a long time. He was 74 years old.

“Vladimir Alekseevich died tonight in Moscow. His son wrote to me about this today at four in the morning (01:00 Moscow time), ”the agency said in the theater.

Vladimir Tolokonnikov was born on June 25, 1943 in Alma-Ata. In 1973 he graduated from the acting department of the Yaroslavl Theater School.

Then he returned to his hometown and entered the troupe of the Republican Academic Theater of Russian Drama named after Lermontov, where he worked all his life.

The most famous for the role of Polygraph Polygraphovich Sharikov in the film by Vladimir Bortko "Dog Heart", which was shot in 1988.
