On July 14, the Central District Court of Sochi recognized Rabbi Marcus Lehman’s book “Forcibly Baptized” and Zoya Kopelman’s article “The Sanctity of the Land of Israel,” published in the magazine “Fathers and Sons,” as extremist.

An indication of this appeared in the federal list of extremist materials, numbers 4176 and 4177, respectively.

Rabbi Lehman was born in 1831 and died in 1890, he lived in what is now Germany. in LiveJournal The Jewish Book publishing house wrote that “Forcibly Baptized” is “an adventure novel describing the life of the Jews of Lithuania and Poland,” the events of which take place in the 14th century.
