Singaporean cryptocurrency startup CoinDash announced a hack. As stated on the project’s Twitter, the site was attacked while raising funds from investors.
During the ICO (initial coin offering), unknown persons replaced the address to which money was credited. As TJournal found out, investors managed to transfer more than $7.5 million to the changed address.
The ICO was to continue for 28 days or until $12 million was raised. After the hack was reported, the offering was suspended, CoinDash urged investors to urgently stop transferring money.
On the specialized BitcoinTalk forum, they do not rule out that there might not have been a hack, and the address was changed as a result of fraud on the part of the CoinDash owners.
