Smoke from fires in Mongolia covered Buryatia

There is a strong smoke in Buryatia. It was brought by the wind from natural fires in Mongolia, the republican authorities said.

It was observed in Ulan-Ude and some areas of Buryatia, despite the rainy weather. According to Cosmomonitoring, smoke was brought by the wind from natural fires operating in the territory of Mongolia, the Republican Forestry Agency said.

In Buryatia itself, according to July 17, about 2.2 thousand hectares of forest are burning. Throughout the republic, the emergency mode associated with a complex forest firewall continues to operate.

Residents of Buryatia are still forbidden to go to the forest. The penalty for violation of restrictions is from 4 to 500 thousand rubles.
