Judge of the Basmann District Court of Moscow Natalia Dudar extended for three months the arrest of the ex-gen producer of the Seventh Studio Alexei Malobrodsky, TASS reports . Also, until October 19, the arrest period was extended to the former chief accountant of the studio Nina Maslyaeva and the term of house arrest to ex-get director Yuri Itina.
Thus, Judge Dudar satisfied the application of the investigation. Meanwhile, at the meeting, the representative of the prosecutor's office said that he considers it impossible to find Less Brusky in custody . “The criminal case against Malobrodsky was only at present, this preventive measure was chosen illegally,” the prosecutor emphasized.
The lawyer of Malobrodsky Ksenia Karpinskaya announced the illegality of the initiation of a criminal case. “It was initiated today at 10:30, this is generally impossible over 20 years of my practice. Now the investigation retroactively initiates a criminal case. My client has not received any notifications and he has not been charged. All the documents have been concocted today. Less Bulk should be released from the hall immediately,” she said.
The second lawyer Julia Lakhova said that the day before, a request was submitted to extend the arrest and all documents. “We had only one criminal case, precisely on the episode about the staging of the play“ A Summer Night Dream. ”These are unacceptable actions. On June 12, there was an interrogation of Malobrodsky on the merits of the charges. Yesterday the court went to the decision, but today it turns out that the case was not so,” Lakhova said.
In this regard, the Dudar decided to resume the trial in connection with new circumstances.
On Monday, the prosecutor supported the investigator, who asked the court to extend until October 19 the preventive measures to the defendants of the Seventh Studio case. Judge Dudar retired to the deliberation room, promising to announce the decision on Tuesday.
On June 19, Malobrodsky was detained after interrogation in the capital's head of the TFR. He was called there as a witness in the case of theft from the "seventh studio" director Kirill Serebrennikov.
On June 21, the judge of the Presnensky District Court of Moscow Tatyana Vasyuchenko arrested Malobrodsky for a period until July 19. It was reported that he was charged under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large amount committed by a group of persons), which provides for up to 10 years of the colony. According to the plot of the case, Malobrodsky, together with Itin and Maslyaeva, which were involved in the case earlier, in 2012 stole 2.33 million rubles allocated from the budget for staging the play "Sleep on a summer night." As a result, the investigator said, the performance was not staged.
In court, Malobrodsky objected that in reality the “Summer on a Summer Night” has been on stage for five years and this is confirmed in particular in the media reviews.
