A Sevastopol resident was sentenced to a year and three months under the article of inciting hatred

The Pervomaisky District Court of Crimea sentenced a resident of Sevastopol, Emil Minasov, to a year and three months in a colony-settlement in the case of inciting hatred. This is reported by the portal "Kryminform".

The report of the press center of the UFSB of Crimea and Sevastopol, to which the portal refers, says that from March to October 2016, Minasov repeatedly distributed extremist materials on social networks.

At the moment, it is not known which materials formed the basis of the criminal case. In total, as follows from the message of the portal, there were six episodes of “inciting hatred” in the case.

The portal found on Minasov’s Facebook page a statement about the “infringement” of the Crimean Tatar people and quotes from the former owner of the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR, one of the organizers of the “economic blockade” of Crimea, Lenur Islyamov, who was charged with calls to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.

Minasov's verdict came into force.
