In Blagoveshchensk, protesters on June 12 were taken to the police from their home

A citizen of Ukraine, a participant in the action on June 12 in Blagoveshchensk, Daniil Pelikh, together with his wife, was taken from home to the police department on July 13. This was reported to OVD-Info by the activist himself.

According to Pelikh, unknown people knocked on their door for several days in a row. Pelikh's wife saw strange people watching her at home and nearby. On July 13, the lights were turned off in their apartment, Pelikh called the police. The police arrived and took the spouses to the police station.

In the department, protocols were drawn up against the activists under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event) for participation in an unapproved action on June 12. The protocol against Pelikh states that he "stood with acquaintances, expressing demands for the fight against corruption, thereby violating Federal Law 54." During the paperwork, the police asked the activists questions unrelated to June 12 — they were interested in relatives in Ukraine, insistently demanded to explain why Pelikh left Lugansk for Kharkiv in 2012, and found out how the couple met.
