The prosecution asked for three years in prison for the defendant in the March 26 Case, Stanislav Zimovets.

The prosecutor requested three years in a penal colony for Stanislav Zimovets, who is accused of using violence against a policeman (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code) at an anti-corruption rally on March 26. An OVD-Info correspondent reports this from the courtroom.

Zimovets is accused of allegedly throwing a brick at a National Guard officer. According to the accused himself, he tried to help the protesters, who, in his opinion, were severely dispersed by the police, and threw a brick towards the riot police. Zimovets was the first of the defendants in the "Case of March 26" to refuse a special procedure for considering the case.
