In Barnaul, the head of the Siberian Center of the Russian branch of Transparency International, Stanislav Andreichuk, was detained. This was reported by the press service of the organization.

Andreichuk was taken to the police department for drawing up a protocol under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). Later, the social activist was taken to court; There he was fined 10 thousand rubles.

Andreichuk was paid part in an inconsistent anti -corruption rally, which took place in Barnaul on April 8.

"We consider the actions of the police against Stanislav illegal and will appeal against holding him accountable," TI said.
