In July, the Central District Court of Sochi sentenced a 22-year-old local resident to seven days of administrative arrest under the article on the distribution of extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Administrative Code). This was reported on the website of the SOVA information and analytical center.
The prosecutor's office found on the young man's page on one of the social networks two videos with Mutsuraev's songs included in the federal list of extremist materials under item 3193. It is not specified which songs they are talking about.
These songs, “aimed at inciting ethnic hatred, as well as promoting separatism and terrorism,” were recognized as extremist by the 109 garrison military court. After an administrative case against a Sochi resident initiated by the city prosecutor's office, the posts were deleted.
Timur Mutsuraev is a famous Chechen bard. Under item 3193 in the list of extremist materials there is a video “Muslims, where are you? — Sold wings of Jihad”, “Jerasulim”, “Chechens about the war in Chechnya”, “Shamil Basaev - The truth about Beslan”, “Shamil Basaev”, audio files “Memory Gallery”, “O Rus', forget the Past Glory”, “Salman Raduev ", as well as the lyrics of the song "Memory Gallery".
