Igor Yakovenko: “From Novorossiya to Little Russia”

In normal political logic, after demonstrating such content in his head, Zakharchenko should have been summoned not to Moscow, but somewhere in Belgorod or Rostov-on-Don, where the assistant to the local governor would have taken him to a house in the countryside and ordered him to sit and keep your head down. But since the Kremlin has an obvious shortage of cadres of terrorist leaders for Ukraine, they were forced to retain Zakharchenko and somehow make up for it. As Gryzlov explained , the proposal regarding Little Russia “has to do with the information war and is not the subject of real politics.”

“The hypothesis that Zakharchenko arranged all this on the direct orders of the Kremlin seems somewhat fantastic to me. The idiocy of the inhabitants of the Kremlin still, as a rule, relates to issues of strategy, not tactics. But here is a man in front of the whole world for a long time and with eats soap with gusto, piece by piece...

The sharp increase in the level of idiocy of the head of the “DPR” coincided with the appearance of the writer Zakhar Prilepin in the Donbass. And in this amazing initiative, he not only took an active part, but also commented on it, saying that today it is very correct that Donbass “announced its dream,” to which it “has every right.”

The heads of the head of the “DPR” Zakharchenko and his adviser Prilepin are designed differently. Zakharchenko’s head is almost completely empty. Just a little trash in the corner. Prilepin's head is chock full of imperial crap and fascist fantasies. Having become an adviser to Zakharchenko, Prilepin began to transfer the contents of his head into the empty head of his boss. In addition to the political absurdity of this idea, the choice of name looks like complete satire. Historically, Little Russian identity and the very name “Little Russia” are associated with dependence, with lack of independence, and have almost always been part of an alien imperial project. If you don’t dive back into the depths of centuries, towards the Little Russian Metropolis, granted by the Patriarch of Constantinople to the Galician Prince Yuri Lvovich in 1303, and Little Russia as part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, then historically the last use of this word is associated with the imperial idea of ​​​​the existence of a “single people” within the Russian Empire .

The Novorossiya project lived in the minds of its authors for exactly one year: from May 2014, when it was announced. Until May 2015, when Oleg Tsarev, who called himself “the head of the parliament of Novorossiya,” reported that Novorossiya did not fit into the Minsk agreements. Now, after another year, a new project has been put forward - “Little Russia”. Its lifespan is apparently one day. Next we should wait for the projects “Millirossiya”, “Microrossiya”, “Nanorossiya”, “Pikorossiya”..."
