The Central District Court of Sochi has sentenced a 22-year-old man to seven days in jail for publishing two videos of songs by Chechen bard Timur Mutsuraev. This was reported by the analytical center "Sova" with reference to the website of the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory.
An administrative case against a man was opened under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials). According to the prosecutor's office, the videos with songs are aimed at inciting ethnic hatred and promoting separatism and terrorism.
