On Tuesday evening, seven Navalny supporters were detained in St. Petersburg

On Tuesday, July 18, in St. Petersburg, police detained seven supporters of the politician Alexei Navalny. The detention occurred when the activists began to unfold the campaign cube.

As explained in the St. Petersburg headquarters of the politician, the detention is due to the fact that the coordinator of this action did not receive written consent to move the place of the campaign event, but only verbal. According to the headquarters coordinator in St. Petersburg, Polina Kostyleva, the activists did not have time to start campaigning.

In the 43rd police department, protocols were drawn up for all seven detainees under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of a public event of the procedure for holding it) and released.
