Saratov nationalist released from court

The hearing in the case of nationalist Sergei Ryzhov, who spent the night in the police and was taken to the Oktyabrsky District Court of Saratov today, was postponed to Friday. This was reported on the website of the FreeNews-Volga news agency.

Ryzhov was brought to court at nine in the morning, without informing the oppositionist's lawyer about the planned meeting. The nationalist was detained on Tuesday, July 18, at the failed action of the Saratov opposition "Radaev, answer!". At the same time, within the framework of the previously considered administrative case, Ryzhov was re-qualified for part 8 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the law on rallies).

The nationalist was taken to police department No. 5. The department announced the “Fortress” plan and did not let the defender Alexander Konyakin into the building. According to the Svobodnye Novosti agency, the Fortress plan "provides for the collection of personnel involved in preventing the seizure of the internal affairs bodies and internal troops' own facilities."
