The Board of Directors of the St. Petersburg company Power Machines ahead of schedule fired the general director of the enterprise Roman Filippov, against which the case of the disclosure of state secrets was previously discovered. About the decision adopted at the meeting on Wednesday, Interfax reports .

Yuri Petrenia, who had previously been Deputy Filippov and the technical director of the enterprise, was appointed new general director.

The upcoming dismissal of the top manager was reported last week , almost immediately after the initiation of the case. As explained, Filippov was deprived of access to state secret, and the position of general director of "power machines" implies the presence of such access.

Meanwhile, an unnamed "informed source" told Interfax that on Thursday Filippov should be charged under Article 293 of the Criminal Code (negligence). This refers to a negligent handling of secret documentation. Whether this article will be imputed by Filippov instead of the 283rd (disclosure of GOSTINA) or, in addition to her, is not explained in the publication.

Filippov was detained on July 13 after searches that passed at his house and at work. The top manager was interrogated in the status of the suspect, after which they released under the recognizance not to leave.

The case against Filippov became known in the midst of the scandal around the supply to the annexed Crimea of ​​turbines produced at the Siemens - Gas Turbine Technologies - a joint venture of power machines and the German concern Siemens.

In early July, Reuters reported that two of the four Siemens turbines, which, according to the contract, were supposed to be installed at the power plant under construction in Taman, arrived by sea in Sevastopol . The 10th on Siemens stated that they did not give consent to the supply of turbines for an annexed Ukrainian peninsula, and the company "Technopromesport", with which a contract was concluded, has been confirmed in writing in writing that the equipment would not fall into Crimea.

Siemens also assured that they would “take operational measures to prevent illegal use of equipment”, in particular, they would refuse to install turbines and their warranty service.

The next day, the German concern filed a lawsuit against the Moscow Arbitration Court of the Technopromesport and Siemensu - Gas Turbine Technologies. Then, on July 11, the German ambassador to Russia Rydigiger von Frich said that the circumstances of the supply that violate the sanctions of the EU should not be investigated by the German authorities.

Meanwhile, on the 13th, Reuters reported that four cylindrical objects covered with tarpaulin were found on the ship moored in the port of Feodosia.
