In Blagoveshchensk, a Ukrainian was arrested for ten days for a post with a swastika

The Blagoveshchensk City Court arrested for ten days a citizen of Ukraine, a participant in the action on June 12 Daniil Pelikh for posts with Nazi symbols located on his VK page. He himself informed the OVD-Info about this.

Pelikha was found guilty under part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (demonstration of Nazi symbols).

As follows from the court’s decision, he was charged with the publication on his noun on the social network of “Nazi swastika and the emblem of military formation of Nazi Germany SS in the form of runes symbolizing lightning” and “Images of distinction of the unit of the military formation of Nazi Germany SS“ dead head ”in the form of a skull with crossed bones.” Pelich posted the first picture on January 13, 2015, the second - November 11, 2014.

The Frances failed to find the pictures that are discussed in the court decision. From the VK page Pelikha, these publications have already been deleted.

At the trial, Pelich said that in the first image, a skinhead was drawn with a toilet instead of his head, and the publication of this picture he wanted to express a negative attitude towards skinheads. In the second picture, according to him, the emblem of the "dead head" was portrayed on top of the picture with smoking children, and placing it, he opposed smoking. Pelich insisted that he did not seek to promote Nazism.

According to the Ukrainian, a protocol was also drawn up on it under Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a foreigner of the stay regime). Nothing is known about his consideration.

On July 13, Pelikha and his wife were detained at home and delivered to the police department, where they drew up protocols under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules of the rally). The protocol drawn up on Pelich said that he "stood with friends, expressing the requirements for the fight against corruption." Whether this administrative case was considered is also unknown.

On July 14, the judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court Vladimir Yuri Yevtukhov arrested for three days civil activist Victoria Lobov for repost in VKontakte images with Vladimir Putin in Nazi uniforms. They tried to attract Lobov according to an administrative article on violations during mass events for participating in the picket on June 12. However, on July 4, the same court did not see the composition of the offense in its actions and justified the activist.
