A house with the corpse of the previous tenant was rented to a large family in the Stavropol region

The large Sharovsky family discovered the body of the previous tenant in the house where they moved in under a social rental agreement, reports . Rossiyskaya Gazeta

At the time of the move, the house in the village of Ivanovskoye, Stavropol Territory, had been empty for several years; they decided to rent it out as part of the “protection of inherited property.”

“The owner of the private property died several years ago. Her 50-year-old son was hiding from the Federal Penitentiary Service, law enforcement officers and creditors to whom he owed money. The last time he was seen by a neighbor was in September 2015. He asked for some things, but the woman advised him to go to his mother's house and get everything he needed there. That’s when he disappeared,” said Zinaida Galtseva, business manager of the Ivanovo village council.

When the Sharov family turned to the village authorities, they agreed to rent the house to them: the residents undertook to make repairs to it and leave it at the first request of the heirs.

Two months later, the residents felt a strange smell in the summer kitchen, put a ladder to the attic and pulled a rag, then a human skull rolled out at them.

"Very scary. Live in a house for two months, and you have a corpse in the attic,” said Madina Sharovskaya, the mother of the family.

The deceased turned out to be a son who was hiding from law enforcement agencies. His body was found on July 18. After 2 days, the Investigative Committee reported on the pre-investigation check into the discovery of the body.
