The prosecutor in the case of Yanukovych Kravchenko was arrested in absentia in Moscow

Kravchenko and Primachka were charged in absentia under part 2 of Article 299 of the Russian Criminal Code (bringing a deliberately innocent criminal liability with the charge of a serious or especially serious crime), which provides for 5 to 10 years of the colony. To both, participation in the absentee persecution of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia Admiral Alexander Vitko is charged. In Ukraine, the case was opened against the admiral in connection with his involvement in the occupation of Crimea.

Earlier, in the case of the persecution of Vitko in Russia, the former acting was arrested in absentia Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleg Makhnitsky and first deputy prosecutor Nikolai Golomsh. In the case there are other defendants, says TFR.

Meanwhile, notes Fontanka.ru, the Primakk was an investigator in the case of the state treason and the complicity of Russian aggression, which was initiated against the cursory ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, and Kravchenko now supports the accusation in the process that takes place without the participation of the defendant.

Part 1 of Article 111 (state treason; sanction from 12 to 15 years of colony), part 5 of Article 27 - part 3 of article 110 (aiding in an encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, which resulted in the death of people and other grave consequences; from 10 years to a lifelong time) and part 5 of Article 27 - part 27 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine were charged. in the conduct of an aggressive war;

The process is conducted by the College of the Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv consisting of Vladislav Ninatko (chairing), Konstantin Vasalay and Maxim Titov. The prosecutor Kravchenko, before the trial, stated that in the debate he would demand for Yanukovych a life sentence.

Yanukovych himself, hiding in Russia (presumably in Rostov-on-Don), ignored the process-he did not participate in meetings even in video communications. Therefore, the judicial board decided to consider the case in a special production regime - without the participation of the defendant.
