
The police of the Irkutsk region finds out the circumstances of the double murder committed on the hunt. According to a preliminary official version, an elderly man accidentally caused gunshot wounds at once to three local residents, two of whom died.
The incident occurred on the morning of Sunday on the Kuta River near the village of Yalka of the Ust-Kutsky District, TASS reports with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.
"A 62 -year -old man from a hunting carbine fired at three people. Two of them died, another was wounded," the interlocutor explained.
The press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation confirmed the fact of what happened. “The suspect was detained,” said the press center employee.
“According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on the hunt. Perhaps it was an accident,” Komsomolskaya Pravda quoted in Irkutsk as saying.

A pensioner killed a woman for 6 thousand rubles
On July 24, the prosecutor's office of the Irkutsk region announced the sentencing to a pensioner who was found guilty of the murder of a woman. It was established that on the evening of December 21, 2016, the 63-year-old Yuri K. came to the house in the residential area of Padun in Bratsk to a previously familiar 78-year-old woman. The attacker killed a pensioner and stole 6.5 thousand rubles belonging to her.
Yuri K. found guilty of committing a crime qualified under paragraph "h" part 2 of article 105 ("murder") and paragraph "in" part 4 of Art. 162 ("robbery") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The man was sentenced to 14 years in prison with serving a sentence in a maximum security colony, the official website of the regional prosecutor's office reports.
