The head of the developer of the Proton engines will resign

The Executive Director of the design bureau of the Himavtomatika (KBHA) Alexei Kamyshev resigned of his own free will. About this "Kommersant" was told by a source at the enterprise.

The source noted that the departure application is "not yet signed." At the same time, Kamyshev has already made a decision on the dismissal of Kamyshev, but "they are not in a hurry to officially announce him so as not to provoke a management crisis."

According to the interlocutor in Roscosmos, Kamyshev was not enough by the leadership of the KBHA. In particular, it did not approve of the “waiting position” of the director, who preferred “to do as few as possible so as not to make mistakes”.

Subordinates were also not happy with Kamyshin’s work, the newspaper writes. The executive director “closed” from employees and resolved only issues related to money and personnel.

Kamyshev has been heading the KBHA since 2015. The company developed engines for the second and third stage of Proton, as well as for the Soyuz-2.1B launch vehicle.
