Protesting miners from Gukovo and the head of the Center for Economic and Political Reforms Nikolai Mironov filed a lawsuit in the Ostankino court to protect honor and dignity against the head of the All -Russian Examination Valery Fedorov. It is reported by RBC.

The reason was the June interview with Fedorov "Rain". The head of the VTsome was asked to comment on the statement of TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, who called the protesting opposition "two percent of the shit." Fedorov then stated that "shit is much more", about 15 percent. “These are people who do not have love for our homeland, these are people who do not have to make it better, these are people who are ready to always criticize, protest, for and without reason, concerns them or not. So I think that there are much more people. This is bad,” said the head of the All -Russian Central Executive Committee.

The applicants considered Fedorov’s words offensive and demanded apologies from him. The words of the head of the VTIME "reflect the typical attitude of the Russian authorities towards its opponents, symbolize its rejection of dialogue," the lawsuit says.

The protests in Gukov began at the end of last summer. On August 23, miners working at Kingcool enterprises began a hunger strike due to many months of non-payment of salaries . The debt for almost a year and a half exceeded 300 million rubles. The general director of Kingcool Vladimir Pozhidaev was arrested. He was charged with part 2 of Article 145.1 (complete non -payment of salaries for more than two months) and part 2 of article 201 of the Criminal Code (abuse of powers that entailed grave consequences).

By September 2, the number of participants in the hunger strike increased to 175 people . By that time, three protesters were already called an ambulance. Doctors recommended sick workers to remove the hunger strike, but they refused. On September 27, miners suspended a hunger strike so as not to healthy excessive threat. By that time, salary debts were partially paid.

In September, the coordinator of mining protests in Gukov Valery Dyakonov was sentenced to 60 hours of compulsory work under Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code (threat of murder). According to the plot of the case, on November 9, 2015, Dyakonov came to his service office to the vice-mayor of the city of Zverevo Andrei Romanchenko and threatened him with a gun. According to the activist, he demonstrated the Walter gas gun to the official and explained that, due to the threats received by him, he was forced to walk with weapons. On March 1, the Krasnosulinsky District Court of the Rostov Region tightened Dyakonov to one year conditionally with a restriction in the right to move and a prohibition of attending mass events.
