The court acquitted activists of Navalny's headquarters in Tyumen

The Central District Court of Tyumen terminated the proceedings on administrative cases of the coordinator of the local headquarters of Navalny Alexander Kunilovsky and the volunteer of the headquarters of Alexander Maletin due to the lack of corpus delicti. Volunteers of the headquarters reported this to OVD-Info by calling the hotline.

Kunilovsky and Maletin were detained on July 24 during an agreed-upon picket. Kunilovsky was the applicant for the picket and stood at a distance, watching how everything went. Maletin handed out leaflets in support of Navalny's presidential election campaign.

As soon as Maletin started handing out leaflets, about 10 people immediately approached the cube, some of whom were with cameras, and two were in police uniforms. According to the volunteers who reported the detention, some of these people were activists of the Young Guard of United Russia.

In the police department at Kunilovsky Street, a protocol was drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event by the organizer) and let him go home. Maletin was issued under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 (organization of an uncoordinated public event), he spent the night in the police department.
