On July 26, the Krasnodar Regional Court upheld the decision of the court of the previous instance - 15 days of arrest for the volunteer of the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Daniil Gogolev. About this OVD-Info was told by his lawyer Marina Dubrovina.
The volunteer was detained on July 8 in Novorossiysk for distributing campaign materials. Before his arrest, Gogolev was attacked by an unknown person who began to snatch leaflets from the activist and threaten him. However, the police officers detained not a provocateur, but a volunteer, and drew up a protocol against him under part 2 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism), allegedly for swearing, as well as for refusing to undergo a medical examination - under part 1 of article 6.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to comply with the legal requirement of an authorized official person for a medical examination). There is a video that shows that Gogolev did not swear, but the provocateur shouted insulting words.
The volunteer was kept in the penitentiary for two days, he was threatened, forced to confess his guilt. On July 10, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Novorossiysk arrested Gogolev for 15 days, article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses was changed to 19.3 (Disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer). While in the temporary detention center, the volunteer tried to appeal against the court decision, but his complaint, contrary to the law, was not submitted to the court of appeal for a long time, the lawyer said. According to Article 6.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, Gogolev was prescribed inpatient treatment, despite the fact that a medical examination for the content of narcotic substances in the blood was never carried out. Gogolev is an honorary donor of the Russian Federation.
