The Tula Regional Court overturned the decision of a lower court that found Nikolai Mironov guilty of violating the rules for holding a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) in connection with the June 12 rally. This was reported to OVD-Info by Alexey Vlasov.
The court decided that the presence of an offense in the actions of Mironov was not proven. Vlasov noted that the reason for this decision was probably that the police made changes to the protocol "with the help of" putty "" and assured them with a seal.
“In the protocol, the form of holding a socio-political event was changed from a “rally of more than 3” people to a “picketing”. The court of first instance considered this a correction of a technical error, ”said Vlasov. According to him, Mironov was not notified about the changes made.
