The program of the Venice Film Festival has been announced

Today, July 27, the Directorate of the 74th Venice International Film Festival announced a list of films that will be presented in its competitive and out-of-competition programs.

According to Deadline , the main competitive program included 21 film, including new works by Ai Vayweya, Darren Aronofsky, George Clooney and Guillermo del Toro:

Another 19 films will be attended by the horizons program, dozens of game and documentary paintings will be shown outside the competition, including the Festival Closure film - Outrage Coda Takeshi Kitano. Previously, a program of the parallel section of the festival, the Venetian International Week of Criticism, was announced .

The 74th International Venice Film Festival will be held from August 30 to September 9, it will be opened by the fantastic comedy of Alexander Payne “shorter”, which will compete in the main competition.

The jury of the festival for the first time in the last 11 years will be headed by a woman - actress Annette Bening (USA). The Golden Leo of St. Mark Award for outstanding achievements in cinema will be awarded to veterans of Hollywood Jane Fund and Robert Redford.
