A resident of the village of Bazarny Karabulak was sentenced to correctional labor for insulting a police officer

A court in the Saratov region sentenced 31-year-old Anastasia Kurkova from the working-class village of Bazarny Karabulak, accused of publicly insulting a police officer (Article 319 of the Criminal Code). This was reported on the website of the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

Kurkova was sentenced to three months of correctional labor.

The incident occurred on the night of April 8 in the courtyard of Kurkova’s house, where police detained her friend, suspected of a crime against the sexual freedom of a local resident.

The court found that Kurkova was outraged by the presence of police at her station and therefore obscenely insulted the head of the Bazarno-Karabulaksky police department.
