The action was to take place in Nazran on the territory of the Nasyr-Kort administrative district near the Abi-Guv mound immediately after the lunchtime prayer. On July 26, the Security Council of Ingushetia, before the start of the action, circulated an appeal to the residents of the republic, in which it said that a number of groups had appeared in the Whatsapp messenger and Instagram photo hosting, the administrators of which called on the residents of the republic to take part in an “unauthorized rally aimed at to incite ethnic hatred towards people from the Central Asian region (Tajiks, Uzbeks) and other nationalities.” According to the information of the Security Council of the republic, preventive work was carried out with the most active authors of calls to take part in actions.
