25 years ago, on July 30, 1992, the former head of the GDR Erich Honecker was expelled from Russia to Germany. At the Berlin Airport, He was arrested and sent to the Moabit prison.
Against Honecker, 68 people were charged with intentional murder on the intra -German border, committed from 1961 to 1989 as chairman of the State Council of the GDR and the National Council of Defense of the GDR.
The case against Honecker was terminated in January 1993 in connection with his deadly disease - lung cancer.
