According to investigators, he met a 15-year-old girl in 2015, and the young people began dating. Soon the young man became jealous of the girl when she did not immediately answer his phone calls, and began to beat her.
In order to convict her of treason, he would watch the girl at school or at home, and beat her when he noticed her in the company of other young people. It is alleged that he doused her in cold weather and took her outside.
This relationship continued for about a year, until in October 2016, the guardian grandmother noticed signs of beatings on her granddaughter’s body. Relatives filed a complaint with the police, and during the investigation it turned out that the native of Kyrgyzstan had already been convicted of drug trafficking.
“The young man explained to the investigators that in these ways he tried to teach the victim to observe the customs of his nationality,” writes the Investigative Committee.
The young man was found guilty of violating paragraph “d” of Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code (torture of a knowingly minor).
